APPLIED LEARNING & MENTORING
ZOI Education has established formal relationships with selected Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) Services within the Melbourne and Metropolitan areas, enabling students to attend their Work Placement across a variety of ECEC Services.
In its selection process, ZOI selects high quality ECEC Services, which are close to public transport routes to enable easy access for the student.
Furthermore, ZOI endeavours to place students to ECEC Services that are approximately within 1 hour from the CBD or their place of residence. ZOI however cannot guarantee a specific location for any student, due to other Work Placement allocation factors that are beyond ZOI's control.
The location map and list of Melbourne suburbs below depicts the approximate locations where students are currently undertaking their Work Placement today. This list is always growing as and is not a final list.

Graduate Study Pathways | After Completing the Course of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care

Credit Transfers & Higher Education
Students who complete the Certificate III In Early Childhood Education And Care may go onto enrol into the CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. Students who enrol into the Diploma after completing the Certificate III with ZOI Education will receive 18 unit credits into the Diploma. Alternatively, students may enrol directly into the Diploma without completing the Certificate III.
Students may also go on to study other related higher level qualifications such as:
- CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services
- A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (or similar e.g. Community Services)

This course does not have training package defined entry requirements, however ZOI Education requires that students:
1. Are at least 18 years’ old when the course is due to start *
2. Have a valid student visa (subclass 500), more information about this visa is here: https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/500-
3. Have completed and passed a minimum Year 12 (or equivalent)
4. Have a suitable level of digital literacy skills
5. Are able to demonstrate a level of language, learning and numeracy skills suitable to this course (test to be administered by ZOI Education which includes written assessment and Skype interview)
